So this weekend was busy! We left on the 5:52 train Sunday morning to get to Osaka by 7:30 to meet the WhyNot?! tour group. Then we headed down to Tokushima by bus, and got there a little after 12. I made my very first turkey dinner today! Late Thanksgiving for my gaming crew. Other than the epic breakdown I had this morning when I broke my thermometer, things seemed to go ok. Just got back from my third run of C25K. Went running in a typhoon, and it was really fun. Course it was just kinda windy, nothing really dangerous, but it felt really great, and the wind really picked up once we'd finished. It felt diving, lemme tell you.

I even enjoyed the wind tunnel. <3

In other news, hurray for jet lag? Ugh, Japanese summers suck the life right outta you. Even with comparable temperatures back home, the high humidity here just does you in.

Back in my apartment safe and sound, watching Semi eat a shoelace.

It is now officially summer break until September. I still gotta go to work, of course, but I've managed to finagle it down to about a week only during the summer~ I'm taking Monday off, then Tuesday I fly back home!
