Today was a good day.  We started off attending a geocacher's gathering in Ellijay.  While there, we were able to meet old friends and make new ones.  We even were able to help another friend find some work for her biz.

Then we went geocaching for a short spell, followed by an afternoon downtown visiting more friends

We went to the Lacey camp out yesterday.  It's a geocaching event and a gathering of a lot of friends.   Being only 14 months old and teething and having run a slight fever earlier in the week, we decided not to camp out overnight, but just went up for the day.

Not a lot to report these days.  The final negotiations for the work I am supposed to do for EF&I have progressed into the final stage.  They asked me to take a urine test for the security clearance.   If all goes well, I will begin work probably the second week of August.  Most likely I will be there at least a year, with no expiration or ( Read more... )

I went after Raven Cliffs today.  Two geocaches are there and I got them both.  I've never been to that waterfall and must say that I didn't really know what I was missing until this afternoon.

w27phantom and I went up into the Cohuttas yesterday to look for TREZ (The Real Empathy Zone).  After about 30 minutes of searching, I finally found it.  It was well hidden and in good condition (I wrote that in case Johnny is reading).  But we decided that as a result of the recent rains and the fact that I just did a cache near that spot earlier ( Read more... )

SH3 stage one has once again fallen victim to muggles.  I have to take it offline until I can replace the container and find a new location.  I have tried to be nice and leave it in places where it can be easily found by people looking for it, but it would appear that muggles who spot it have no qualms about cutting the zip tie keeping it in place ( Read more... )
