So I just got back from seeing The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. This, therefore, by a process of deduction known as "Katie is a massive nerd", would be the flaily spoilery post.

This weekend I totally went out into the countryside in beautiful weather and ate some really rather good food and played the Battlestar Galactica boardgame and also saw The Dark Knight Rises omg.

I really enjoyed X-Men: First ClassI don't have anything much to say about it apart from that. It was way closer to what I want from an X-Men movie than I expected or hoped for, and it was a way fun experience especially as someone who has thought Xavier/Magneto totally goddamn canon for ages, but otherwise I largely think these two articles sum up ( Read more... )
