and if we kiss each other a lot, our love will last for ever and ever

Because otherwise this will be either gleeing over something that shouldn't be gleed over yet or me venting about the fact I can't kick either the Atlantic ocean or all the news ever in the FACE, I present:

TV. My, er, typical response to stuff like the above. But anyway.

I finished season one of The Good Wife finally!

I love Alicia SO MUCH. Alicia is amazing: I love her scenes with Eli Gold and the way Juliana Marguiles has of putting over a sense that Alicia has just had enough, she can’t be bothered to keep up the typical social niceties with people who are out to use her any more, and just does not give a crap if Eli is inconvenienced. It’s not at all malicious, either: she’s just someone who is finally too tired to jump through the hoops any more and is now prepared to just say "That hoop? I don't care. I have jumped through EVERY HOOP twice already and what did it get me? Nothing. So no more hoops for me."

(The word 'hoop' has now lost all meaning.)

And I love that this just makes Eli flail a bit mentally, because he can't just walk all over her. At all. And he has to care what she thinks and he doesn't want to but he can't just ignore her and I LOVE THAT HE CAN'T IGNORE HER. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I WANT TO MARRY IT. METAPHORICALLY.

In other completely predictable news, I adore Kalinda. I did not, however, expect my heart to be kind of breaking for her! The stuff with the Fed dude... it was SAD, I was there going "OH MY GOD HER LITTLE FACE MY HEART MY HEART". And this is while she remains the most physically badass person on the show. She is strong and she is awesome but in some very important ways her life SUCKS. And I want to find out more about WHY.

...and maybe also have more queertastic awesome. Because that was great and I KNEW IT AND I KINDA LOVE THE FED LADY TOO. And the flirting and the "Kalinda, are you ok? You sound like you've been running!" were the least subtle thing in the world EVER and I laughed and laughed. And my god she totally, totally does have at least a small crush on Alicia, and if that bar scene is anything to go by it's an epic one.

Though frankly, who wouldn't? Alicia turns up, DRUNK, and finds dude handcuffed to a dead body and there's blood everywhere and her first reaction is not to freak out. It's to think he's a douche and try to think of what fingerprints are going to be where. I LOVE HER.

I am not sure what I think of the thing with Will - him wanting to make something of it kind of took me by surprise - but I need season 2 so that I can find out. OMG.

I also saw Inception finally and my two thoughts were: 1. okay so Ellen Page is awesome and adorable but it would be nice if she could be something other than Ms Exposition, and 2. Not NEARLY as gay as I was lead to believe by fandom. (I know, right?) Oh and a bonus 3. quite fun but not particularly unusual or interesting if you've, er, ever heard of pretty much any philosopher ever, though I can imagine the special effects were pretty on a cinema sized screen.

Aaand NCIS is back!

And the coastguard lady was in it being both hot and awesome. Gibbs totally has a thing going there, but she's too good for him. On the other hand, appreciating her makes me want to slap him slightly less, so. Hmm.

Tim was really adorable but didn't get much to do otherwise. Tony being adorable waking him up was nice though, and helped make up for Tony making an ass of himself in a way I am just declaring uncanon because Tony is an eejit sometimes, yes, but he wouldn't pull that in front of people who just witnessed a murder. Hellllls no. Mangled Agatha Christie references do NOT MAKE THAT REASONABLE, writers.

And my explanation for Tony mysteriously not wanting to take all his leave is that he suddenly realised it would be six weeks without Tim where a STRANGE NEW PERSON might CHARM HIM AWAY. Hahaha.
