Today Mom and I went to Wal-mart for some groceries, and we ended up in the yarn isle...we always do. We gravitate toward it. So Mom picked up this Lion Brand Homespun yarn, the soft fluffy kind, with a red and white mix, and was like, "Oh wow I really like that!" Between October and November, I didn't touch a single crochet hook. I was busy, securing a dependable job and getting my schoolwork done. Now, with winter beating down on us and some time out of school, I'm picking it back up. I've got a fun way to make money that really uses little to no effort on my part. I crochet. It's a lot like knitting except more of a weaving principle, and only one needle (hook). I've been doing it since last July, when my mother showed me how. I know enough to make scarves and blankets, and
