I've been elected Director of Public Relations for the United Nations Association at UCF. I'm excited to be in this position especially since it means I am guaranteed a spot at Conferences. We have one coming up SRMUN (South Regional Model UN) that will be held in Atlanta, Georgia. So, yesterday I did a tabling event for NOW at UCF. We had a very interesting set-up. Our table was surrounded by three Christian clubs, there were no problems or anything but it was very awkward considering we had our rounds that set "Elect Women Now!" and "Keep Abortion Legal!" very visibly displayed. I've had a pretty relaxed mini-summer break since classes have finished but now I start an online class (which seems it might be a bit rigorous) and then the week after next I start my new job. The past several weeks have been the busiest of my entire life. I joined the National Organization of Women for my service learning project for my Introduction to Women's Studies class and it has been so much fun. Things are starting to look up. I have a job interview on friday at Colborn Hall. I would be working for the College of Arts and Humanities as a Student Assistant.
