Last night was a relaxing evening with two of my kids. They took me to a Spanish restaurant in McMinnville of all places - although it is by far a more happening place than where I live. I haven't had Spanish food since I lived in CA and that was during a visit to my hometown of SF. And of course it was as wonderful as I remembered. We ate our way ( Read more... )

Going to the dentist wasn't bad at all, I just had a crown put in. of course he noticed my stitches from having the first of the basal cells removed and said "That's to get our sympathy...right?" I laughed and said right. At the moment I sort of look like a beginning Frankenstein's bride...but the sutures come out on Friday and I will have another ( Read more... )

Just talked to my daughter in California. Being the kind of person she is, she decided to go see her uncle (my brother) and her aunt on her way home from meetings down in their neck of the woods.

Today and this evening were most enjoyable. There were 13 of us all together, but the best part is, other than seasoning the roast and orchestrating a few details, I didn't do much cooking!
