Lazy...pure and simple
A week has gone by and I haven't posted a darn thing. I think I get so into a rut during the week that to do anything other than peruse LJ and read friends' posts, would involve better planning on my part. My downfall at times.
I do want to let all my LJ friends know that I do faithfully read your posts, and when I can, I make comments. It's just this procrastination thing I have going lately. If I have some downtime I am in zombie-land.
I do have to say that I was so very lucky to finally meet and have a meal with ang_o and tjod last Sunday. G and I really enjoyed ourselves...and of course none of use took any pictures! Figures huh?
Today has consisted of doing some cleaning and waiting around for Dish TV to come and install/upgrade a new HD box. Of course the time frame is anywhere between noon and 5 PM. Laura ended up being home this weekend - so I may dash to the store.
Speaking of Laura.... Poor kid had a whirlwind trip planned for NYC where she was going to meet her old roommates from CA for 4 days. Jet Blue's flight was delayed due to a storm in NY, so she sat/slept at the airport for 8 hours (and it was a red eye flight). Finally the plane arrived and lo and behold Jet Blue canceled it because the crew was OT and they didn't have a new crew. Bastards! So she got a refund and is home this weekend. She's allowed to mope...I know I would.
G is supposed to come down sometime today, just not sure when. And there are plenty of events going on tomorrow, but we decided that we would play it by ear after we get up.
Other than that...life is same ol', same ol'.
