Well I'm back from the work trip which was quite insanely boring.  The only plus to it was not being woken up at 5 am by my kids....  That is one good thing about sleeping in a hotel.  However it might have helped if I had actually slept.  Hotel pillows are horrible nasty things that should be outlawed for sleeping on and just used in place of ( Read more... )

So its currently about 37 C in my living room.  The fan is on but it is just circulating hot air around.  And to just make things absolutely peachy, my daughter threw up about half an hour ago on the carpet.  The carpet has been scrubbed, obviously.  Copious amounts of febreeze have been thrown on the carpet afterwards and it still stinks ( Read more... )

My PC is dying.  It is terminal I fear.  When the inevitable happens I shall mourn its loss (and probably go insane until I get a new one sorted), but until then I am frantically backing up everything in the hope that I can pull everything important off it before it dies.
