I made the first item last week, which was a two-tier box from cardboard and pretty Japanese paper for arachne, and it looks like this:

I went to see Col this evening, to be there when he came back from his op, which was to put a stent into the tube connecting his kidney and his bladder. All went well, he was a little woozy, but we spent a couple of hours chatting and catching up and all was good.
