After much to-ing and fro-ing, I decided that I would take part in the starwars_lims this round because the caps were so nice that I couldn't resist making icons of them.

There are some fantastic icon makers participating, so I'd recommend checking it out just to see what they produce (and voting, if you are so inclined).

I'm trying to decide whether I should sign up for a lims that isn't in one of my fandoms, although it is something that I was obsessed with as a kid. I love to talk about icons and I adore concrit and it looks as if a decent lims is the best way to get that. Plus the screencaps are put up way in advance which suits me. Well I haven't been around here much in the last two weeks. I've been busy with applications, interviews and corrections. The good news is that I have been offered a job! A palaeontology job! It is a huge relief and I'm very happy about it.

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes on Tuesday. I had a nice day which involved intermittent chocolate cheesecake. I decided not to do anything in particular to celebrate this year since I still haven't entirely recovered from celebrating my last two birthdays on climbing trips. ( Note to self )
