I fell asleep at 8:15PM watching Larry Sanders on DVD. That's the second time I've fallen asleep while trying to watch it. I don't know why I can't stay awake because the show is incredibly funny.
Juannie woke me up around 11PM so I could move to the bed. I am just getting sleepy again and it's 12:45AM.
Since Juannie and I started South Beach on April 13th, I have been bringing my lunch to work almost every day. Brown bagging has always been a challenge for me. One issue is that I am not organized enough in the morning to pack a lunch. Another issue is that I have a severe phobia about reheating things in a community microwave. My phobia has been

Two years in a row I've been stricken with a late Spring stomach virus. I woke up yesterday feeling very unhappy in the stomach region and that lovely state of affairs lasted into the evening. Luckily, there was no vomiting involved and my recovery seems to be much quicker than last year.

I need an attitude adjustment. This week has been so trying. Earlier in the week, there were the issues with the bank which are still ongoing. Today, I stopped after work to run an errand and my car wouldn't start when I was ready to leave. I had to buy a new battery

Juannie and I celebrated Easter with his dad's side of the family in Satsuma, LA. We had a fun time catching up with his aunts, uncles and cousins. Then we went our separate ways. He drove the few miles to Baton Rouge for the night to observe inventory at a store there and I drove home by myself. It's only one night but I already miss him. I

Juannie and I have been busy choosing, spending, assembling and organizing. We finally have a functional and comfortable living room with our first bookshelf post-Katrina. There's nothing on the walls yet. That's my latest project. I am selecting the best of my photography and printing and framing it for display all over the house
