Juannie and I are back on South Beach diet phase 1. This is the no carb, no fruit, no caffeine, no alcohol portion of the program. It lasts for two weeks. So far, Juannie has lost 15 pounds and I've lost 8.5. The last time we did serious South Beach we both lost around 40 pounds ( Read more... )

This was a mistake. Tantalizing baked goods topped with mounds of sinful frosting will be haunting my dreams tonight.

Since Juannie and I started South Beach on April 13th, I have been bringing my lunch to work almost every day. Brown bagging has always been a challenge for me.
