Ike is a bruiser. Texas got the big hit but the rest of the Gulf Coast are struggling from the storm surge and winds that Ike brought along with him as he took aim at Galveston and Houston. Juannie's in Palo Alto for the week. To make flying bearable since he can't take his Bach's Rescue Remedy with him as it's a liquid, he bought Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone from iTunes. I was all for it because I can't wait to listen to it on the drive to and from Fort Morgan.

Some thoughts on the trip to Fort Morgan, AL with Juannie and the family...

Off to the beach with Juannie and the family for the holiday weekend! I am looking forward to sun, fun, niece, nephews (now four of them!), swimming and stargazing.
