Frustrating home drama aside, the busy pace of my life has been slowing down recently. I'm still employed at PetSmart, which despite the low pay turned out to be a decent enough job. I seem to have lost the title to my Honda. I'm not sure why I still have the original ad for it but not the title. Losing official paper work is a pain in the ass, especially when there's a $22 dollar duplication fee. I don't think I'll be able to get to a notary until Friday but the car is being taken on Sunday. Up until today, my vacation has been pretty awesome. I finally got my car back today. The call came in around 8am that my car was ready, in fact it ended up waking me up. I didn't actually get my car until after 4pm because I didn't feel like taking the hour commute. Roughly one week after dropping it off and $400 dollars later, it runs pretty good. Heat waves and work are a combination that I don't like. UPS is a downright horrible place to work in the summer. The fans don't cool you off as much as they barely keep you alive in order to keep working. The bad part is that years ago OSHA had to be called in order to get those. There's something about not having the chance to make extra money that really makes one miss their car. In my case no car and not being able to find a ride home means no midnight doubles at work.
