Things in Rhode Island are pretty terrible. The rain that led to all this damage was slow, and there was no wind. I'm having issues transitioning from the present tense to the past tense. I keep thinking and Aunt Bobbie in the present tense. I think that I should call her. Took my sister out tonight. I pretended to be her mom and get her ears pierced. I had Dad's permission, of course. She did a good job, didn't freak out or cry. I also got a second piercing in my left ear, so now I have two in both. Hopefully this one heals with no problem and I can get the three in each ear I've wanted since highschool ( Read more... )

I feel guilty, I have pretty much traded livejournal for facebook. I've had this lj for years and years. Hell, sometimes when I'm bored I flip through my old entries. That mostly reminds me of how awesome my college friends were. Are. I am sure many of them are still awesome.

I had a copy of an article for class today. I pulled it out of my notebook and the girl next to me commented on how organized I was. Without thinking I replied 'it's a trick, I'm really a mess.' I need to stop doing that.

I took the time to look nice today for my internship. Dress, heels, makeup. I'm not really sure why. I got a lot of compliments. Some of them were nice and some of them were creepy.

I am struggling to stick with my good habits. I love a good just-woke-up and a calming right-before-bed ritual.
