Some people have different usernames on LJ and DW. Some people's LJ username is had by somebody else entirely over on DW, which is important to know when giving people access to your stuff!

If you are a friend, I'd appreciate knowing (and in some cases being reminded :) who you are over on DW, especially if it's not obvious - but even if it is ( Read more... )

I am hearing credible reports that:

• The LJ servers are now in Russia.

• There has been a massive uptick in migrations from Cyrillic users into Dreamwidth.

I am hearing unverified reports that:

• There is some sort of political purge of accounts happening in the Cyrillic side of LJ.
