So yesterday (Sunday), the work I had scheduled was canceled, giving me a free weekend day that I haven't had in about a month.

It would have been nice to stay home - but instead I decided to make a trip to Chiba to get my haircut and meet up with my dear friend Adam, because I was dying for a chance to pamper myself.

Today is the first day of winter vacation! Last year I went home for three weeks during the holidays, so this is my first time experiencing the end of the year in Kamogawa.
