My first LJ post from my new place in Chiba!!!
This post is generally the same post as the one I posted on Blogger a couple days ago, except with more photos plus a little bit more details/personal touches and minus the stuff I've already posted on LJ.
Goodbye Kamogawa City Hall D:
My last month in Kamogawa went by in a flash! The days went by so fast that now that it's all over, it feels so long ago and it's actually been a week.
Golf deep in the mountains of Ichihara! It was a crazy busy day, but I do remember that the weather that day was spectacular and nice and cool~.
GIANT PARFAIT in Tateyama! This thing was literally about 2 feet tall. With 5 people tho, each person probably had the same amount as a regular parfait - but the feeling of triumph after the cup was empty was way better <3
With Okayasu-san, カラオケ部長! I love how he goes totally crazy when he's drunk at karaoke.

And all between the crazy busyness, I had to pack up all my things and clear out the apartment...so sad DDD:. And then, I was homeless for my last few days in Kamogawa, so my boss put me up in the Kamogawa Grand Tower, which is one of the nicest hotels in Kamogawa! All the rooms are suites/condominiums <3
Pictures of my hotel room (which I had ALL TO MYSELF! it was actually creepy to be alone in a place that big, so my last night there, 3 of my friends came over and we had an awesome sleepover/nomikai night!):

Tatami room. There were also 2 futon in the closet, so you can use this is as a sleeping area too.

Those are all of my photos of the room, but there is also a laundry room, storage room, toilet, kitchen, and TONS of closets.

This last photo was actually taken from the window near the elevators, on the opposite side of the hotel (compared to where my room was). The tall-ish white building around the middle of the photo is Kamogawa City Hall!
Got a Certificate of Recognition from the Mayor! This photo was also published on the front page of the local newspaper (!!!).
With my 部長, at my office welcome/farewell party for me and Siki <3
THREE YEARS! I was drunk and overly happy at this point...Totally unrelated, but despite it being a nomikai, I had three pieces of cake AFTER a full course meal.
Lunch with Kicchan at Biwa Club in Minamiboso!!! This was when I was dumb and locked my keys in my car trunk, and we had to wait for my insurance to send someone to unlock my car for me...sigh. The biwa curry here was really really good tho!!!
Aaaaaaaand on my very last day at Kamogawa, a bunch of my friends/coworkers got together to order hiyashi-tatanmen!!! We were supposed to order 激辛, but most of us chickened out hahaha. We ordered 16 bowls though, so perhaps the restaurant ran out of spice, and the 激辛 wound up only being as spicy as the regular hiyashi-tatanmen...:D
Sooo even though I live in Chiba now, I'm still going to go back down to Kamogawa a lot to hang out with people, etc.! I'm actually going Saturday to go catch fish in the river again :D I also have photos of my new place to post, so hopefully I'll get around to that soon, along with posting about my new job! Anyway, right now the heat here is KILLER so for everyone in Japan - stay cool!
