Life is a bit of a bitch Lately things have been stressful and I haven't written about them because I'd hoped they would all go away if I didn't mention them. Well it doesn't work. Dad has recovered nicely from his surgery- he was up and walking up stairs within 5 days and went home with Mom and appointments with the visiting nurse. The ones my parents have had have been personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone coming off surgery that is mostly independent.

Well, like many of my friends I'm succumbed to the addiction known as Facebook. A friend sent me an invite and it was spread throughout my network of friends. It's fun and I've connected to folks I haven't heard from in a while. I do miss the  diary- journal style of Livejournal and will continue to come back and write my little updates of my live.
