I got the Husband home on Tuesday night! Hurrahs and great celebrations commence. Anyway he is doing good and adjusting to his new meds - Betapace and digoxin (?) replaced his Metoprolol, now he is adjusting his diabetes medication. Seems to have a little more energy. It has been a stressful several days as dear husband was taken to the hospital on Monday for a racing heart. They gave him several drugs and managed to get it down and then released him in the evening. He was placed on sick leave until he could get cleared by his doctors. Happy Thanksgiving cousins! Hope you are with family whether biological or chosen. I'm at home with a painful ear infection. It started with extreme dizziness and now is in the swollen ear canal and ear pain stage. I went to the doctors and he gave me a prescription for ear drops. The only good thing about this is I get to take my new sick hours.

Sigh, sitting here in my comfy chair with my right ankle elevated and iced. Yes I sprained my ankle. How? I stepped outside and my ankle twisted under me. No more Zumba for 3 weeks - no weight bearing exercise.I am so bummed.I have my air splint and can drive as long as I brake with my toes lol. Luckily my job doesn't involve a lot of walking. Dad has recovered nicely from his surgery- he was up and walking up stairs within 5 days and went home with Mom and appointments with the visiting nurse. The ones my parents have had have been personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone coming off surgery that is mostly independent.

I've been a little down the last few weeks, lack of light and lack of exercise has been plaguing he. One I have to get started on, the other will cure itself as the weather gets warmer. Oh, the weather outside is frightful! So goes it after two named winter storms in three days.
