Facebook and me!
Well, like many of my friends I'm succumbed to the addiction known as Facebook. A friend sent me an invite and it was spread throughout my network of friends. It's fun and I've connected to folks I haven't heard from in a while. I do miss the diary- journal style of Livejournal and will continue to come back and write my little updates of my live.
We are just digging out from a snowstorm here in the Northeast. It wasn't as bad as the weathermen predicted but snow and cold is still snow and cold. We only ended up with 3 inches with a layer of ice on top. My trusty sons did all the shoveling and deiced the cars. I went grocery shopping before the storm. What is it about a snowstorm that makes people think they HAVE to go to the store and stock up like they are going to be snowbound for weeks. I don't know. I was scheduled to stock up as we were out of a lot of things. But everyone else shouldn't have my bad timing. lol
I had a physical on Wednesday and got a clean bill of health. Except you should lose a little weight (of course) I made the error of saying to the doctor - I don't get sick like I used to. No bronchitis,, no bad colds, no flu in several years. So here I am nursing a bad gloppy cold and wondering if I should go in to work tomorrow and spread the joy and a few germs.
I'm looking forward to January 25 when I will steam off on a cruise to the Caribbean. I want warm weather and sunshine and I may never come back. They will have to drag me kicking and screaming on to the ship to go back. Perhaps I can get a job in a library in the Virgin Islands!
