Tonight is the closing performance. I can hardly believe it. We leave for the theatre in an hour, so we can take the ferry one last time. It runs right between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House into Circular Quay ('quay' is said 'key'). Lovely.

It's an odd thing... feeling starved for physical affection, when e'en before now I've not been lavished with it. Starved. Perhaps a rather strong word.
