I went to a Native American art store today in Stratford and WISHED I had stayed longer. There was so much gorgeous stuff. But I did buy a pair of earrings and a matching necklace. They are done by an artist named Aryn Bowers who works in precious stones and mammoth ivory. The set I bought is made with malachite.

While today is the astrological solstice, tomorrow is technically my holiday. I wanted to do a ritual today, but it was late when I got home and I didn't have a lot of time to recuperate. I know I'm a few days late.

In my personal mythology, the spring equinox is the time when the Gods Quetalcoatl and Cama Zotz have equal power. The time of the short days and of Cama Zotz is ending, and the time of the long days and of Quetzalcoatl is starting. His power will peak in June, during the Solstice.

Today I performed a small, intimate ceremony with Jaguar Paw to ask the Gods for help. I have been falling away and with a rather large upset, I did desperately need this.
