I don't often say stuff like this, but I really wish some of my friends would come see the Bakerloo Theater Project with me, or make an effort to see them themselves. Someone is playing/testing the bells at the church near me. The one that used to be abandoned and was bought by an artistic group. Who knew that place had a set of working bells? It sounds awesome. :-) I hope this becomes a regular thing.

As part of Troy Night Out I checked out the Tight Knit event downtown in the Frear Building. It is all homemade, local art, crafts, clothes, fiber arts, photography. So, Joe Bruno (aka "Uncle Joe"), my State Senator, is retiring. I couldn't be happier. Mike McNulty, my US Congressman, is also retiring. This one makes me upset, but it's for health reasons so I understand. In any case, I see some potential political campaigning this fall, probably for Phil Steck for Congress.
