For the past several years I have spoken of my love of the Bakerloo Players every time they come to Troy. They are just an awesome, innovative theater troupe, and Troy is really lucky that they take residence here in the summer ( Read more... )

Can anyone local help me with some props I need for a show?

@ Boy's Suit (any age up to 8)
@ Toy Sword (wooden)
@ Toy Horse (wooden or antique-looking stuffed animal)
@ Doll's cradle (wooden)
@ A tamborine (wooden)
@ Cigar box and cigars
@ 2 "wedding rings"

The play is set in 1880, which is why things need to look handmade.

I don't often say stuff like this, but I really wish some of my friends would come see the Bakerloo Theater Project with me, or make an effort to see them themselves. You guys are missing out on some of the most innovative theater I have ever seen, and it is a rare jewel to have actors of this caliber take residence in Troy. I have been praising ( Read more... )

I got into the ensemble for the musical!

Mark you calendar, the performances are the two weekends following the 4th of July. The show is in Clifton Park, and it's free.
