Skydiving and theater

Sep 25, 2009 01:29

It looks like I may be going sky diving Friday night after work.

My friend Dave from work has a second job at The Drop Zone in Duanesburg, and sky dives almost every weekend. He's been trying to organize a large trip for a bunch of people in my office for months now. Of course, he recently realized he would never find a date good for everyone, so he's just gonna take a few people at a time. Tonight looks like my day!

That said, it looks like I'm going to see Confetti Stage's short play festival on Saturday, and need someone(s) to go with! It is at 8:00, and costs $15, but there's a discount if we bought a pack of 5 tickets (which we could also use next weekend). Kari is in some of these, and Amanda is directing one! Here are the shows:

FIRST WEEKEND
(Thursday September 24th, Friday September 25th, & Saturday September 26th @8pm)
*DEMENTIA by Lynn Scott (directed by Amanda Brinke)
*FOREBEARS OF BAD NEWS by Kevin Marshall (directed by Peter Keller)
*MRS. GRANT’S SINGLES DANCE by Linda Bidwell (directed by Dan Kelly)

SECOND WEEKEND
(Thursday October 1st, Friday October 2nd, & Saturday October 3rd @8pm)
*FAINT HEARTS by Stephen Henel (directed by Jimmy Cupp)
*THE LICENSE by Fred Sahner (directed by Barry Streifert)
*THE STONE HOUSE by Marty Egan (directed by Neilson Jones)
*UNTIL DEATH DO WE PART by Renee Day (directed by Patrick Rooney)
***************
If anyone would like to join tenner, pallagia and myself for Wolff's Octoberfest this Saturday, we plan to caravan from Troy around 10:30. We'll get there early, get a table, and have a yummy lunch with some beer!

theater, things to do, work
