My dish washer seems to have stopped working. Mainly, it doesn't seem to be getting hot anymore. It seems like something that might be fixable, but my question is, who is it appropriate to call (cue Ghostbuster's theme). A plumber? An appliance repair man? Anyone have a recommendation for someone local to use?

Someone is playing/testing the bells at the church near me. The one that used to be abandoned and was bought by an artistic group. Who knew that place had a set of working bells? It sounds awesome. :-) I hope this becomes a regular thing.

I'm very excited for tonight. :-) My area had a power outage from 10:00pm to midnight last night, so I didn't get all of my stuff done. (I am just glad the power came back, or else I would have lost a lot of food in the fridge!)Still, the room is set up with chairs, lights and candles. FYI - Looks like the date for the Mike and Ruthy concert will be FRIDAY, MAY 29th. Mark your calendars!

If you are thinking about traveling from out of town, let me know. Mike and Ruthy get first dibs at the guest bedroom, if they need a place to stay, but I have couch space.

I am back safe from Michigan.
I did not have power when I came back.
My cats were cold, but seem ok.
The pipes were not frozen, and I did not have a ton of tree damage.
Thanks to jonthebrit and spiffstress for their help during that time.
