I’ve been a little stressed out about money lately, as I try to pay back the enormous amounts I spent trying to get myself a work wardrobe and then buying another one that can function in this heat wave (a tuxedo-printed g-string and brass buttons over the nipples seem to have done the trick). Was mostly a success. Got wickedly burnt-- because i am the idiot Dr. Phil talks about who slams their hand in a car door and expects a different result each time-- but ate good food, hung with family and 300 000 of my closest canucks. Phew! So I am moved in, more or less. My only criteria for a successful moving day were that I had a bed to sleep in and that my air conditioner was placed in the window. Things have been okay here lately with some concerted efforts on all of our parts to just move past things that have been tearing us up and trying to focus on other aspects. So at 9am this morning I got a phone call. As of December 15th, I will officially be employed with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police! *g*
