The birthday
Was mostly a success. Got wickedly burnt-- because i am the idiot Dr. Phil talks about who slams their hand in a car door and expects a different result each time-- but ate good food, hung with family and 300 000 of my closest canucks. The heatwave here is almost unbearable-- or at least, it would be if i ever left the 5 foot area surrounding my air conditioner. Tomorrow when i go back to work though.. *pulls collar* *realizes she's not wearing a shirt with a collar* *pulls tank top strap* It's gonna be rank.
I must give thanks to cheights who gave me a lovely virtual birthday gift (birtual gift?) and the always unbelievably generous maverick4oz who never ceases to leave my jaw firmly on the floor with her gestures of kindness. Blown away.
Now off to have a quick sweat before dins.
