Vive le Quebec libre!
Things have been okay here lately with some concerted efforts on all of our parts to just move past things that have been tearing us up and trying to focus on other aspects. An easier task considering my birthday was yesterday :) Took it VERY easy and hung around all morning, went downtown for about 2 hours, ate some great food that required tickets to retrieve, listened to our national anthem warbled a dozen or so times, picked up some flags, ran into some friends and then headed home for a fancy feast (not the cat food) and watched Chicago with my ma, The Boy and Dunkleman. The afformentioned Boy is now dozing softly downstairs while i put off packing for Montreal.. which i leave for in about 2 hours. I've never left packing this late but i am totally okay with it. Until I lose my shit in about 1.5 hours. But right now, very zen. The hilariousness of going to Montreal to run away from French class has not escaped me but man-on-man do I need some time away from stuff. Be back on Sunday, c'est ne pas un grand voyage, mais c'est necessaire maintenant. Tu sais? Tu sais. A bientot!
