Patrick split a cab with some other people and is now safely home.

Is anyone IN Cincinnati or Can Get To Cincinnati today? Patrick is stranded at the Greyhound station. He's been on the road almost 24 hours, and they won't run any buses til 3 pm and possibly not til tomorrow.
I'd go if I trusted my car not to break down or get stuck between here and Cincy, but I don't.

Went to the Cincinnati Zoo to see the animals and the lights. Arrived when it was quiet, left when the hordes of families stormed the place. As we left, there was a line of cars stretching nearly 2 miles waiting to get in. Shawna cooked a lovely gluten-free dinner for Patrick including cookies! And we are now back in Dayton.

Monday is my day off, so I had a slow morning while Patrick put up the Christmas lights, then we went hiking out at Clifton Gorge this afternoon. Clifton Gorge was formed by meltwater from the last Ice Age. There are hundred-foot cliffs, caves, a swift river, random islands, all very scenic. Offer on a tiny little place in Fairborn has been accepted. Hoping everything goes smoothly this time. This is literally the last house on the list and the only one we think will squeak by the appraiser. It's pretty, but small.... There is an attic, but nowhere to put a staircase. Whoever's coming over tonight, we will have corn on the cob and banana nut bread. Not exactly dinner, but more than the usual munchies.
