Saw three more homes today, all in Fairborn.
The first we liked until we went down to the basement. It had bad pet smell and needed carpets replaced, but.... It appears they "cleaned up" the place by throwing EVERYTHING down the stairs. Waist high shit everywhere, horrid smell, mold, flies, probably rats too. Saw the notice on the way out that the place was condemned, and I am not surprised.
Second place, five rooms on a concrete slab. Lacked appeal, but nothing specifically wrong.
Third place, looked pretty forgettable from the photos. But we liked it in person. Two car garage, decent yard, 1.5 story with basement. More space than we need, but better more than less. Needs updates and appliances, but was in good enough shape we could move in immediately if we wanted. We dropped a bid on it, will know by next Thursday.
