I like working at the Renfair! I like the folks I'm working with and it's not too hard except for the standing all day. Shawna&friends will be visiting tomorrow. Anyone else in the area, drop by. I'm at Uncommon Adornments, toward the back of the fair across from the pirates.
Found a group called Narsilion that plays fantastic music. They are from Spain, but the songs are mostly English. Very medieval-fantasy, LotR sounding music. Some is medieval-instrumental, some is vocal, some sounds like an enchanted music box. There are a couple tracks where they speak instead of sing, I don't much care for those, but the rest is fantastic enough I'll overlook it. Amazon has samples of their music. I am thinking about buying their album Namarie off Amazon as an MP3 download, but to do so I have to download their Amazon MP3 Downloader. Has anyone done this? Is it spyware? Should I pay 3x as much for the actual CD?
Oh, and I love several Japanese musicians/composers. Yoko Kanno, Yuki Kajiura and Akino Arai come to mind, but since the albums are Japanese imports they are either impossible to find or quite expensive.
