Yesterday hubby and I went with our good friends Dan and Suzanne Griffith to a SAM art installation honoring urban parkspace. They took over some of the city parking spaces and made them into little park zones with sod and everything! Just got back home from the Kingston WA 4th parade. .. such a homegrown thing,still, when many local fests have gone BIG, inviting schools and businesses and politicians from THE BIG CITY to participate. . .we can walk to the center of town from our place, so no parking issues, but there aren't any really, because it is still so small. . .here is ( Read more... )

Finally had a few days of warm and sun, here in dreary Western Washington. . .a little girl in our complex celebrated the sun by blowing bubbles into it.. . she was so cute, saying, "1, 2, 3 BLOW!"
