1966 Triumph Spitfire

The spitfire was baby blue. My dad gave it to me to drive to school when I was 16. . .suddenly I had LOTS of dates :-)
The Dart was a gift from my father in law - it was yellow. The trunk leaked and it killed at intersections. So we got a NEW car -
The Chevy Vega Wagon - ha ha ha! As soon as we got the pink slip, it was toast. . .traded it in for
The Dodge nine passenger VAN - big green machine. . .this was 1975 and I used to put all the kids (3) in a playpen in the back - I KNOW!!!! Those were the days. . .we moved to Washington, acquired child #4, gas went way UP, converted green machine to propane, then finally cashed it in for
THE BABY POOP COLORED BUS. . .the heater in that never worked right and the ignition was always acting up. . .after a trip to Eastern WA with my sis in law (for fruit to can), wherein we had to crawl under the thing 4X in 100 degree dusty weather, to slam on the solenoid (sp) with a screwdriver to get the thing GOING (9 kids going NUTZ in the car) I traded it in for a new car -
The brand new on the market Toyota Mini Van :-) Silver and Blue. .. lasted over 300k and was a trooper every inch of the way ;-)
