Second, why don't we have any candidates calling for outlawing paid lobbyists?  'Cause I would vote for him/her in a heartbeat.

You know what's still making me giggle, even though it's been since Friday that we all found out? Dr. Rodney McKay's ( real first name. )

Choir practice was lovely. I was not the youngest person there, but it was a close thing. Several of the regular members tried introducing me to Z, which was kinda funny. Still puzzling through my difficult database. The really annoying part is that there's massive amounts of transactions going on, and I have to figure out which ones are off, and there's, like, no clue where to start. I settled a couple of the accounts today, but now I'm stumped ( Read more... )

I walked a lot today. Went looking for apartments, mainly to see what was near my new place of work, and walked a couple miles just looking around. Found some likely places near shopping centers, that had balconies. I'm really hoping I can get a place with a balcony. We got to Chicago easily enough, and checked in, though we were too late to visit the Oriental Institute.
