It was a wonderful weekend, full of great conversations and catchup with some people I hadn't seen in thirty years and more.

Many excellent panels and talks (John Crowley's by vid). I think my favorite panel was the one on Tolkien scholarship, which began with a panel of grays my age, who talked about their first discovery of Lord of the Rings. ( Read more... )

We have had such a wealth of rain, and delicious cold weather! It's been wonderful as I hunker here in the bunker trying to get this story wrapped up*.
