LOTR Online has announced that it will go free-to-play this fall. So if you ever wanted to run around Middle Earth killing things, now is your chance.

I'll definitely grab it, though I don't know how much I'll play it (especially with Cataclysm on the horizon). But it's always nice to have options.

Yay! Books! It's been a little over a month since my last report and while I've not read as many books I would have liked (had a couple of dry weekends), I still managed a decent number. Unfortunately, it did very little to put a dent in my book backlog as all but one book were newly purchased. Ah, well...

The Midsummer Fire Festival has come to Azeroth and Adylven is ready to party. It's been fun overall (though I did get ambushed by some kill-joy Alliance a few times) and, with the exception of killing Ahune, getting the achievements were really easy.

Adylven didn't like Murlocs. They just show up and make their camps on various shores whenever and wherever they please. Then they attack at the drop of a hat, usually in a group.

No, he really couldn't stand those horrid creatures, so he was quite surprised when he found himself actually working with them.
