Variety is announcing that 20th Century Fox has teamed up with Walden Media for Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The budget and script are still being finalized, but they are aiming for shooting to being at the end of this summer. They plan to release during the holiday season 2010, which is far better than Disney's original plans to release it ( Read more... )

NarniaWeb has posted some more information on Disney's break from Walden & Narnia. While the article is obviously biased against Disney, it did point out something that I had commented on before. Topic 1: A new Fullmetal Alchemist anime series has been confirmed. I wonder if they're going to continue where the movie left off, or just ignore the last part of the first series and animate the manga. I would definitely prefer the latter; I wasn't terribly keen on the anime after it split from the manga.

Topic 1: The San Diego Comic Con begins this Thursday. I had hoped to go this year, but things didn't go as planned. I will be keeping an eye on the news that comes out, though. There's going to be an Avatar panel and Weta will be featuring some Prince Caspian collectibles (lets see how much money they get out of me this time around).

Yesterday evening,I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Book purist are probably going to have kittens. Fortunately, I'm not a book purist and I loved it. ^_^

( Spoiler-laden TL;DR )

IESB.net has some new Prince Caspian clips available. Here's the first one and you can get to the others from there. They do take quite a bit to load so I'd advise opening them in a separate window/tab and doing something else until you hear it playing. Once they load you can reply without a problem.
