I arrived in Boston this past Saturday, August 9. I cried the entire way to the airport in Calgary, sitting in the back of the cab and staring out the window. Got some actual prices from the breast surgeon in California, to go along with the ones from the facial surgeon in Boston. Then I sat down and figured out some ballpark travel expenses. I now have a number: $30,630.55, roughly, including travel expenses (with one hotel estimate and minus applicable taxes).

Okay, so. I just came back from vacation, which was teh awesome. I was in the Lower Mainland, and visiting has solidified my desire to move there, someday soon. I might even start planning for it (gasp!).

So I'm talking to my mom on the phone today about, among other things, my getting American citizenship.
