I guess I'm on a star photo kick. I stopped again on my ride home tonight. Unfortunately there was a street light some distance down the road that I couldn't block out, especially given the 13 second shutter time. Also I think my lens needs to be cleaned. Unfortunately, the photos I took yesterday (Friday) didn't come out. Imagine a really beautiful night sky with no extraneous light. Last night during my drive home I was struck by how bright the stars were, and I stopped to try to take a picture but without a tripod it's hard to get good night shots ( Read more... )

With temperatures in the mid-forties today, the out-of-doors called me to walk instead of drive to get lunch. My company is next to a car dealer, and on the other side of that is a private school.
