The forecast was for snow today, so when I noticed out my bathroom window that the sky was in fact a brilliant blue and the sun was shining cheerfully, I was pleased. My neighbor's roof always makes an interesting contrast with the sky.

Rather gray sort of day today. The texture of the undersides of the clouds was pretty interesting at lunchtime, though. Puffy in some spots, quilt-like in others, and if you look near the bottom of the picture, you'll see cloud waves near the tops of the mountains.

I guess I'm on a star photo kick. I stopped again on my ride home tonight. Unfortunately there was a street light some distance down the road that I couldn't block out, especially given the 13 second shutter time. Also I think my lens needs to be cleaned.
