Rather gray sort of day today. The texture of the undersides of the clouds was pretty interesting at lunchtime, though. Puffy in some spots, quilt-like in others, and if you look near the bottom of the picture, you'll see cloud waves near the tops of the mountains.

These are posted on the fence that surrounds the Vermont Composites parking lot, just by the path to the main entrance. I guess they are supposed to warn people that there could be ice, but whenever I see them, I just think, "No kidding, it's winter in Vermont."

This was what I saw during my drive to work today. When I left my house it was sunny, and the forecast was for show showers. Halfway to work I encountered an unexpected blizzard.
