I feel like such a useless human being, lately! All I want to do is eat and sleep. Granted, I'm still managing to go to work and keep house. But that's about it. Where is my motivation?

Oh well, off to work.

I went skating on the canal yesterday. It's been a few years since I've done that! It felt so natural. I love gliding along. I hurt a little today, but the pleasure of skating to work makes it worth it!

Last night I dreamt I was double-booked for work. I was supposed to usher at McGill (which I'm doing tomorrow night for real) and work at Videoself (which I have never done) at the same time. I wasn't even wearing the right outfit for ushering.

Lots of good news in the past 24 hours. First off, I found out that I passed my RCM grade 10 for piano. I was so worried, because I was really nervous during the exam and made lots of mistakes. Nonetheless, I squeaked by with a 76 (you need a 75 to pass). I've been working towards this for two years, and I'm so glad it's over ( Read more... )

I had a job interview at a music school today. I don't think I impressed them that much, but it's hard to sound good on a little keyboard (no pedal, non-weighted keys, maybe 3.5 ocataves long). Ah well, it's good to practice my French.

I have to work at the gallery today. Booo! I guess a 5 day weekend was too much to ask.
