I got in my monthly bike ride today. Bitter wind, but otherwise not bad. Makes me wonder why it took me so long to try winter biking, and why I don't do it more often.

Thank you for letting the air out of my tires instead of puncturing them. But why did you take the time to do that? Were my robust tires offending you? Why did you deflate both of my tires as well as both of Erk's? Is 6 hours too long to lock my bike to a stop sign in a quiet residential area?

Well, I made it to work on time yesterday, just barely. Biking to Pointe Claire was interesting but I wouldn't really recommend it. It took about 2 hours and my back was killing me. I was hoping for some kind of "sweat your cold away!" cure but that didn't happen, and I feel much the same as yesterday. That's life, I guess ( Read more... )

I haven't written much about my extensive travels in the past few weeks. On Canada Day I went to Ottawa with dzuunmod (but played Scrabble instead of watching the fireworks. Lame?)
