adventures in biking
I went to work today! I biked there and back. I feel mighty.
It had been 5 months since my last day of work, and years since I'd attempted winter biking. Teaching came back easily and I really felt like "me." Biking was fine, too. I tried biking one snowy day in November when I was a teenager, and I slipped on a frozen puddle less than a block from home. I had given up on the idea until today. Maybe I'll piggyback on metawidget's challenge to bike at least once a month this year. February could prove tricky, though.
