Things wot I have done in the last three weeks...and I can't believe it's only been three weeks. Seems like a lifetime! Some have been on Facebook, I think, and more will probably get posted on there. Bit of a cat theme this week.

Just a wee one this week. A work in progress cause the original photo had some boats in and I need to sharpen up my pencils before I dive in, so to speak.

It occurs to me that I have not only hardly been online the past week or so, I am also being distinctly uncreative. No writing, and the only art is the stuff I am doing at the art club. Yay for me deciding to go to a club - I knew it would make me at least do something. Even if this week's effort is a bit lacklustre.

Have a couple of things in progress but only finished one thing. Did this at the art club yesterday. Found out it's Race Rocks off Vancouver Island 'cause someone else recognised it. Makes you think the source photo off the net or summat, but, no, I took it in person when I was on holiday a few years ago. Glad to know my memory is as sharp as ever ( Read more... )

Art club thingy for the past weeks has been AGMs and demos, not been doing much art other than the fanart stuff (just one pic, see below).( on with the waffle and a dog pic )

So, this week another pet portrait done whilst keeping my head down at the art club. Was a bit shocked to be asked by a husband (picking up his wife) if I would do a commission of their dog. Never expected to get that at a group where everyone draws/paints/whatever. Very flattered!

So, I am currently visiting the marvellous ladywillin and she has inspired (heckled, cajoled) me to post on here again. Truth be told, real life has completely taken over and I can't even remember the last time I had the 'puter on properly never mind looked at LJ.
