Akiva was here for WWDC, and that was pretty great.

Chrisamaphone and William were here for Chris running the half marathon, and that was pretty great. I drank a lot of cocktails and ate a lot of sushi.

I went to the East Coast. I stayed in Annie's apartment in New York for a while while she was out of town visiting her boyfriend's hometown. Ed and I went to see Leonard Cohen, who was phenomenal. Adventures continue apace. This past weekend I poked around Treasure Island with Kate and Andrei, who was visiting the Google mothership. Investigating short-term employment possibilities.

Pittsburghers: I'll be around starting the 9th for a few days.

Woke up today and went to an acceptable if not awesome adviser meeting. Then I returned home and slept more. Upon waking, I went to hang out with KateK, who is being courted by Amazon, and thus is in Seattle. We wandered a lot and had delicious poncy dinner.
