Woke up today and went to an acceptable if not awesome adviser meeting. Then I returned home and slept more. Upon waking, I went to hang out with KateK, who is being courted by Amazon, and thus is in Seattle. We wandered a lot and had delicious poncy dinner. I should eat expensive food more often; it is really good. Later wanderings led us to Cap Hill and then to Cold Stone for ice cream, where we had good conversations. Then she returned to her nice hotel and I went to Jess' to hang out for a bit with Alice, Tom and Jess. Eventually Alice left, and Jess and I talked for an hour or so. Now I am home.
